At the Glentanner Campground, I was able to open the backdoor to the van, then I sketched and carved these tiles from a sheet of clay. I had the mountain right in front of me along with a brilliant orange sunset. These are set in blue resin to represent Lake Pukaki and the sky, mounted on clear acrylic with a distressed copper and clay frame.
